Kahaia Tours is a friendly, personal and professional business run by Tim and Tina. Tim is a Kiwi (New Zealander), who has lived in the Coromandel for 11 years and has always enjoyed driving around one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand - The Coromandel Peninsula.
Tina is French Tahitian and has over 30 years experience working in the Tourism industry in Tahiti, (French Polynesia).
After a short time together they realized that it was obvious to pull their skills together and start a Tour Guide Business.
The name Kahaia comes from a flowering tree in Tahiti and the surrounding Islands and is also a common name giving to Tahitian girls.
